WALT: Identify the author's purpose.
It helps me understands what the text is all about.
The story give me Ideas of what the story is all about.
Now that I can Identify the author's purpose I can tell what the story is all about.
So the book helps me understand and I can explain what the story is all about.
Identify the author's purpose is all about finding key words.If you are stuck on a word us the WALT then you know what to do.
